14. Alternative access routes
The institutionsoffer programmes tohelppeople
who may not meet the entry requirements for
specific Degrees and Diplomas. Most of these
programmes only consider applicants from a
disadvantaged educational background. Two
different types of programmes are listed in this
section. Some, when successfully completed,
allow you to be considered for admission to a
particular programme of study. In others you
are admitted directly to Degree or Diploma
studies, and the initial modules are spread over
a longer period than normal to allow for extra
support to ease you into your studies.
Programmes with access routes are
indicated in the programme list. The letter in
the access route column shows you which
access programme applies.

Six-month access course.

Students who pass may be accepted for the
N Dip Analytical Chemistry.
